I love creating.

Finding my passion took a while growing up as being a photographer and filmmaker “wasn’t a job”. Well, at least I thought it wasn’t.

I was born and raised in the North East of England on a diet of TV and film. Discovering photographers such as Tom Stoddart, James Nachtwey and Anton Corbijn ignited the drive in me to start my own creative journey. Being told I had a natural eye for photography, combined with my constant curiosity of life and many years of hard work, has lead me to where I am today.

Starting out with only a portfolio in hand and blinkered determination, I've now worked with a wide range of clients and agencies, taking me to many places nationally and internationally.

My passion and curiosity to tell a story led to the natural transition from stills to filmmaking. I direct and make films for clients as well as creating my first feature length documentary Don Don Strong in 2022 and picking up the best documentary short at Cannes in 2023

I’ve worked with Cravens and Prod for a decade or more on numerous projects as both a photographer and director. Memorable work has included Ladbrokes, Gala Bingo, American Golf, Northumbria Police and more recently the Q hotels wedding spot.

I feel incredibly lucky that through my work I'm connect and engage with people from all walks of life. Being able to tell people’s stories and create something that didn’t exist, is what I really love to do.
