I am a highly skilled RTS award-winning director with over 22 years’ experience in media production. A warm, adaptable, unflappable, organised director with experience directing TV commercials, branded content, music promos and live and pre-recorded broadcast television.

Based in County Durham but working all over the UK, I have worked with Prod for several years across a range of projects and pitches but is particularly proud of the First Bus First series of films for First North, which shares intimate stories about how bus travel has enabled some dreams and ambitions to come true. These real life experiences are recreated for the storytellers as they journey back in time to share how bus travel helped transform their lives

Also an experienced Producer, I have a great understanding of what is required by performers, having personal experience working in front of the camera. I pride myself on being able to work well with contributors with little to no experience through creating a quick rapport and putting them at ease in front of the camera.

My passions are directing both live action and animation, for clients/brands such as BBC Studios, Iams, First Bus, Barbie, Channel 4, Nicorette, Peppa Pig, Cosmopolitan, HMV & Renault.

If you're looking for someone to work with children, animals and pyrotechnics - all at the same time - I love a challenge & have the patience of a saint!
