It all starts with a question

Wanting to show off their exquisite wedding packages by creating a film that really stood out from the crowd, we were delighted when The QHotels Collection gave us the opportunity to film this beautiful tribute to the best day of our lives. The core idea in the creative is that everything starts with a question, that moment you engage with the customer service team which is the start of a wonderful journey through to the special day. But we added a twist by showing the entire sequence backwards. So we travel back in time from the fireworks all the way back to ringing the bell.

The film was a truly collaborative effort with the client team who helped recruit a real wedding party, using their real suppliers and the rooms were dressed as they would be for the event itself. Using our in-house kit and camera crew, our CD and Producer brought on board our long-term collaborator, director and photographer Dan Prince. We faithfully replicated as much of the real wedding celebrations as we could and a brilliant day was had by all!

The post was done at Prod HQ in Newcastle with grading done by our head of post Michael Atkinson. Add a great music score to set the tone and hey presto, a spot that manages to connect emotionally and truly showcase one of the most important services that The QHotels Collection provides.
