‘Travel the Season’ with First Bus at Christmas

First Bus asked us to promote the many advantages of travelling into Leeds City Centre by bus over the festive season. We wrote various scenarios featuring families, friends and couples travelling into town to partake in Christmas activities from going to the panto to Christmas shopping.

The number of bus users has been steadily increasing back to pre-pandemic levels however there are still a number of challenges, from roadworks and heavy traffic congestion to energy costs, all of which affect the reputation of the bus service. This campaign was a reminder of how buses can bring a community together and allow people to leave their cars at home and enjoy a hassle-free day out.

We were able to adapt many of the films for use across digital media across the country and we created social cutdowns and took photography. Produced and directed in-house and filmed with our extended Prod Squad, we are really pleased with the natural joyfulness that we captured in the performances.
